So, Junior Missions sounds like an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in taking part. I wish they'd offered something like that when I was a sophomore or junior. Once we start having breaks, the school year's going to seem to go by a lot faster than we expect. That's always the case and it's usually all right until the spring when I wish it would slow down a bit since summer always seems to feel like the shorter term.
On a vaguely related note, I don't know if this has come up at all in the few weeks since we all arrived, but if anyone starts feeling homesick and wants to talk about it, especially the new students and those on my floor in VH, feel free to seek me out. I have some vegan hot chocolate Sierra recommended and trust me, it might not make you feel at home but it's brilliant anyway.
VICTORY HALL RASI know it's rush week, so things are still pretty chaotic, but I was thinking it's probably a good time to start organizing some of those events and activities we talked about. When I was a freshman, this was about the time I started missing Ísland and feeling awful about being away. You know, it was starting to sink in that it would be a while before I got to see it again. So maybe doing something soon will help the younger ones especially feel more at home.

This is a reminder to all residents of Victory Hall, but everyone else as well, since you may find yourselves spending some time here over the course of the year, that alcohol is not permitted inside the building. This is a strict rule and your RAs will have to enforce it if one of us finds out it's being violated, so please try to stay out of trouble because I think I speak for my fellow RAs as well as myself when I say we don't like having to punish people at all and we'd appreciate your cooperation.
Also, after last night, I feel I should remind everyone that we're all asked to keep it down after 11pm. As classes start and people get their assignments, we'll all need some time to study and rest without interruption.
